Teachers, you don't want to miss out on this exciting opportunity! The Pleasure Pier is now offering a reading program for students from Kindergarten to the 6th grade. Your students will love the excitement and thrills that come with devouring books - a FREE, fun-filled day with unlimited rides at The Pleasure Pier!

BOOK ADVENTURES RULES

  • This program is meant for grade levels K-6.
  • Teachers must register themselves and their classroom to participate in the program.
  • The goal is for each student to achieve 20 minutes of recreational reading each day.  Books, magazines, e-books, etc.  Reading for homework or class assignment does not count.
  • Students will track their reading on a calendar that must be signed off by their parent/guardian each day.
  • The certified teacher for the program will sign off on the weekly reading calendars.
  • Once the students have tracked their reading on a calendar for the entire month, they will receive an award certificate, good for one FREE All Day Ride Pass on the Pleasure Pier.
  • The certified teacher will be responsible for submitting the filled out calendars with needed signatures to the Pier's Group Sales Manager who will then send out the award certificates (personalized) for each student.


INFORMATION ABOUT THE TICKETS

  • All day ride passes are only valid on the select dates that will be included on the student award certificate.
  • Students can only earn one certificate per month - October through March.
  • Tickets are valid for students in grades K-6 only and are not valid for anyone over the age of 13.
  • Tickets cannot be used for group events, school trips, field trips or school outings. Group redemptions and / or parties with the individual certificates are strictly prohibited.
  • No certificate will be accepted after June 1st of each year.
  • Certificates are not valid if copied, reproduced, exchanged, sold or otherwise transferred.
  • Certificates cannot be replaced if lost.

We enjoy helping the communities that surround our business locations. We donate to 501c(3) charities that benefit the local communities of our restaurants, hotel & entertainment locations.  Please email your request, at least 45-60 days prior to your event. We are reviewing requests on an ongoing basis, and it can take 4-6 weeks to complete this review process. The request should be on official organization letterhead attached in your email and include ALL of the following:

  • Official organization name
  • Physical address of organization
  • Name, phone number and email of representative
  • Federal Tax ID number and copy of 501c(3) determination letter
  • Specific donation request and how it will benefit the organization
  • Date donation is required

Due to the high volume of requests, it is not possible to honor every request made. We respectfully ask that you accept our apology in advance, if we are unable to fulfill your request and wish you success in your endeavors.
